During an evening at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Scarlett Johansson collected the American Cinematheque Award and was the focus of a celebration that was attended by several friends and colleagues. These include Jon Favreau (who directed her in Iron Man 2 , Chef and The Jungle Book ), Thomasin McKenzie (with her in Jojo Rabbit ), Jamie Lee Curtis , twin brother Hunter Johansson and fellow MCUs Sam Rockwell, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., and Jeremy Renner .
Also with them was Kevin Feige , demiurge of the Marvel Cinematic Universe who made an interesting revelation during the event. Feige has in fact said that Scarlett Johansson will collaborate as a producer on a new top secret Marvel project, which will not have to do with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow. Feige said:
Scarlett has donated her talent and star power to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over a decade. I am extremely grateful that he has chosen to be a part of it for so many years. That with her was truly one of the most memorable and satisfying collaborations of my career.
Water under the bridges?
All forgotten, then? We are obviously referring to the lawsuit filed by Scarlett Johansson against Disney and Marvel due to lost profits due to the distribution of Black Widow on Disney +. We know that the actress will star in the Disney movie Tower of Terror ( which may be directed by Taika Waititi ). It seems that, now that the dispute has been resolved, the two sides have agreed to continue their collaboration. In the course of the evening at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, of course, the question was not raised by anyone. Perhaps it was a sign that it was really just business, nothing personal.
