The final trailer for Scream 6 is accompanied by comments from critics, whose reactions were shared a few days ago.

The synopsis:
SCREAM VI follows the survivors of the latest Ghostface murders, sisters Samantha and Tara Carpenter and twins Chad and Mindy Meeks, as they leave Woodsboro behind and begin a new chapter of their lives in New York, only to find themselves once again plagued by a series of murders perpetrated by a new killer wearing the Ghostface mask.
Scream in the cinema and on TV
The saga has so far five cinematic chapters released in theaters: the first four were directed by Wes Craven , while the screenplays are almost all by Kevin Williamson (the creator of Dawson’s Creek ), apart from the third film, written by Ehren Kruger . The fifth chapter was instead directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett , who returned for the sixth.
The franchise transitioned to the small screen in 2015, in an MTV series that ran for two seasons. A third season – actually unrelated to the previous two – aired in 2019 on VH1.

Returning in this sixth chapter: Melissa Barrera (Sam Carpenter), Jasmin Savoy Brown (Mindy Meeks-Martin), Mason Gooding (Chad Meeks-Martin), Jenna Ortega (Tara Carpenter), Hayden Panettiere (Kirby Reed) and Courteney Cox (Gale weathers).
Joining them are Dermot Mulroney (Detective Bailey), Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra and Samara Weaving .
Directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin , directors of the previous chapter Scream .
The screenplay is once again written by James Vanderbilt ( Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man ) and Guy Busick ( Till Death Do Us Part, Castle Rock ).
