you know very well that Neve Campbell ( Sidney Prescott ), David Arquette ( Dewey Riley ), Courteney Cox ( Gale Weathers ) are not the only well-known faces of the saga to be present.
In fact, there is also Skeet Ulrich again in the role of Billy Loomis , murderer (or rather one of the two murderers) of the first chapter, returned in this new adventure as a recurring hallucination of the protagonist Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera), his daughter .

But how did directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett manage to “bring back” Billy Loomis ? The answer came during an interview with Bloody Disgusting .
First of all the choice to rejuvenate the actor digitally, to make sure that he was the same as in the 90s. It was not, however, a decision taken from the beginning, as confirmed by Bettinelli-Olpin:

We probably thought not to age it halfway through production. We then saw a rejuvenation test and realized that he was very faithful. And that’s where we decided.

Gillett then added:

The idea was that he was completely trapped in time. When you see him in this film, he is exactly as you remembered him in the first film. And this is the image that has remained etched in her daughter’s head.
