Netflix has released the official trailer for the second season of Space Force , which will debut on February 18 on the online platform.
Steve Carell plays General Mark R. Naird , who closes the ranks of his loyalists for new space adventures (but with his feet firmly on Earth). The trailer shows the return of Diana Silvers (Erin Naird), Jimmy O. Yang (Dr. Chan Kaifang), Tawny Newsome (Capitan Angela Ali), Ben Schwartz (F. Tony Scarapiducci), Don Lake (General Bradley Gregory) and John Malkovich ( Dr. Adrian Mallory ).
The first season was not met with great acclaim, especially when we consider that the series reunites Carell and the creator Greg Daniels , the couple of The Office . This is why the production has decided to make some changes: Daniels was in fact joined by Norm Hiscock as co-showrunner, in the hope of relaunching the show on a creative level. Hiscock has previously worked with Daniels , and is best known for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Parks and Recreation, People of Earth and King of the Hill . Also the aforementioned Jimmy O. Yangjoined the writing staff. The producers therefore hope that Space Force can follow the same path as The Office , whose success exploded in the seasons following the first.

The synopsis
The life of General Mark R. Naird (Steve Carell), a highly decorated pilot who dreams of commanding the Air Force, is turned upside down when he is asked to take over the reins of the new sixth branch of the American military: the Space Force. Skeptical but determined, Mark moves with his family to a remote base in Colorado where, together with a diverse group of scientists and “Spacemen”, he tries to quickly bring American astronauts back to the Moon and achieve total domination of space, as requested by the House.
