Apparently Elon Musk is a fan of free speech, unless you question his leadership.

The newspaper The New York Times indicated that SpaceX fired at least five employees associated with an internal letter that criticized the conduct of Elon Musk .

” Elon ‘s conduct in the public sphere is a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment for us, particularly in recent weeks,” stated an excerpt from the letter published by Reuters .

SpaceX employees called for the company to disentangle Elon Musk and his erratic behavior, particularly on Twitter, the social network he is in the process of buying.

They were fired by the president of SpaceX

According to The New York Times , Spacex president Gwynne Shotwell sent an email stating that the company had investigated and fired a number of employees related to the letter.

For Shotwell, the letter complaining about Elon Musk made other employees feel “uncomfortable, intimidated and like victims of bullying since they had been ‘pressured’ to sign the letter.”
