We don’t know when we’ll see another trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse , but a new image shared by the film’s twitter profile is available in the meantime.
Miguel O’Hara / Spider-Man 2099 ( Oscar Isaac ) is visible here chasing Miles Morales ( Shameik Moore ), just like in last December’s trailer . Spider-Gwen ( Hailee Steinfeld ) can be glimpsed behind him .
We know that Miles will not share certain ideas of Miguel , and the two will come into conflict. Last year, writer and producer Chris Miller spoke about this dynamic:
[Spider-Man 2099] isn’t the villain of the movie, but he’s kind of an antagonist to Miles because they both think what they’re doing is the right thing.
The two heroes will likely disagree on how to deal with the new threat to the multiverse, posed by the Blur ( Jason Schwartzman ).
However, the release of the film is expected for June 1 in Italian cinemas. The story will continue later in the third installment of the saga, Beyond the Spider-Verse . You can see the image below.
