The second volume of season 4 of Stranger Things has recently made its debut on Netflix.
With the last two episodes, the answers to some questions that had left the fans of the series in suspense also arrived.
Who dies in Stranger Things season 4?
The Duffer brothers had anticipated that not all characters would survive Stranger Things season 4 and in fact the inevitable farewells also arrived with the ending.
Specifically in the eighth episode we greeted Doctor Brenner , also known as “Pope”. The character got quite hated, let’s face it, but he managed to find some sort of redemption in the end, freeing Eleven before he died.
We now come to the most painful death. The reference is obviously to Eddie Munson , the character played by Joseph Quinn . He greeted us like a hero, battling the hellish creatures of Vecna in the Upside Down, and died in the arms of his friend Dustin.
Then there is the question of Max . Freed too late from Vecna ‘s stranglehold , she died in Lucas’s arms. Eleven , with her powers, managed to bring her back to life but the girl is currently in a coma.
What is Vecna’s plan?
The last two episodes of Stranger Things 4 have deepened the figure of Vecna .
As we know, Vecna is actually the son of Victor Creel , played in the series by Robert Englund . His name is Henry , and he is also known as “Number One” as evidenced by the tattoo on his wrist. Gifted with psychic powers and totally out of control, Henry Creel was entrusted to Dr. Martin Brenner when he was just a child. Henry had killed both his mother and little sister, placing the blame on his father. Raised in Brenner’s lab and kept under control thanks to a device called Soteria, Henrytransformed into Vecna after a fight with Eleven . A mental battle in which Numero Uno got the worst of it and was thrown into the Upside Down .
Vecna explored that world, seeing various creatures including Demogorgons and eventually finding a kind of dust cloud in the sky. It was he, with his powers, who created the Mind Flayer, also orchestrating all the events of the series.
Vecna , therefore, has always been the mastermind behind everything we’ve seen. Killing four victims would allow him to open a gap between the real world and the Upside Down. His plan was only partially successful, Vecna was defeated by the group but he is not dead and is still intent on carrying out his mission.
Is Will gay?
The sexual orientation of the character played by Noah Schnapp has become a particularly hot topic since Mike (Finn Wolfhard) told him in Season 3, ” It’s not my fault you don’t like girls .”
While no clear answer to this question has been given, the second half of Stranger Things season four gave us a particularly touching moment. In episode eight Mike (Finn Wolfhard) talks to Will about his relationship with Eleven. Will reassures his friend of him, with a speech about personal acceptance and all the fears related to the awareness of being “different”.
“When you are different, it can happen that you feel wrong.”
Speaking of Eleven he also talks about himself, completely opening his heart.
What is the subject of Will’s painting?
In the last few episodes of Stranger Things 4 we discovered the subject of Will’s painting. Represents the group of friends at the center of the series’ adventures. A fantasy version of them, to be more precise, with Mike leading the group in the fight against a three-headed dragon. Because, according to Will, Mike is the champion, the heart of the group.
What song does Eddie play in the Upside Down?
In the final episode of season 4, Eddie and Dustin return to the Upside Down with one task: to lure the creatures of that hellish place to allow the rest of the group to act undisturbed and defeat Vecna. Eddie then decides to take his guitar to play a specific song: Metallica
‘s “Master of Puppets” .
It has been six months since the Battle of Starcourt brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. In the aftermath of the event, our heroes separate for the first time and face the consequences, made even more complicated by life in high school. In this time of vulnerability, a terrifying new supernatural threat presents itself with a gory mystery, the resolution of which could finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.
