After the posters featuring Mario and Luigi , the new Super Mario Bros poster is dedicated to Princess Peach , voiced by Anya Taylor Joy .
Peach is portrayed on the saddle of her motorcycle, while she runs along the Rainbow Track: Mario Kart players know it well, being the last track of the Special Trophy in every title of the saga. Obviously the film has found a way to integrate the game’s famous races… but we can imagine that the approach won’t be as bleak and dystopian as in the SNL sketch with Pedro Pascal !
The release is expected on April 6 in Italian cinemas. You can see the poster below.

The cast
Chris Pratt voices Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy voices Princess Peach, Charlie Day voices Luigi, and Jack Black voices Bowser; Keegan-Michael Key plays Toad, Seth Rogen and Fred Armisen are Donkey and Cranky Kong respectively. Kevin Michael Richardson plays the role of Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco that of Spike.
Direction and screenplay
Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic , who have already collaborated on the animated series Teen Titans Go! and the movie Teen Titans Go! To the Movies . The screenplay is instead the work of Matthew Fogel ( The Lego Movie 2: A new adventure , Minions 2 – How Gru becomes very bad ).
Production
Co-financed by Universal and Nintendo , the film is produced by Illumination ‘s Chris Meledandri and Shigeru Miyamoto , creator of the original game.
