James Gunn is back to talk about Superman: Legacy , the film he wrote and directed about the Man of Steel that will be part of the new DC Universe conceived with Peter Safran .
He did so during an interview with the Toronto Sun , a chat mainly focused on Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 , during which, however, an interesting detail emerged regarding Superman: Legacy :

Who is Krypto the Super Dog?
Krypto the Super Dog is a comic book character from DC Comics. He is a Kryptonian dog, that is, coming from the planet Krypton, like Superman. Krypto was created by Otto Binder and Curt Swan and made his first appearance in “Adventure Comics #210” in 1955.
Krypto has superpowers such as strength, speed, and the ability to fly. He is loyal to Superman and often aids him in his adventures. We recently saw him in the animated film DC League of Super-Pets .
That’s not all, on Twitter the director confirmed that in the film we will find “someone” from the Guardians of the Galaxy .
