The screenplay is by Aaron Horwitz ( The Cleansing Hour ).

Jasmine Savoy Brown , best known for The Leftovers, For the People, Yellowjackets and Scream , plays an infant sleep consultant who goes to work in a small American town where all radio communication is mysteriously forbidden. As you can imagine, the young woman will soon discover something frightening behind the appearances of that place. Here is the synopsis:

In a small American town where wifi, cell phones and all radio transmissions are banned for mysterious reasons, Sloan, a sleep consultant for newborns, realizes that the parents of the child she is caring for aren’t just two naive yuppies, but something more terrifying.

We do not know what role Tatiana Maslany , who became famous for Orphan Black and recently seen in She-Hulk , will have ; maybe she will lend her face to one of her parents? However, Ruben strongly believes in the project:

In a market where original horror-thrillers hit the box office, we don’t need more evidence to show that audiences still want to enjoy themselves at the cinema. That’s the magic word. Fun. Horror is a bulletproof genre, and Green Bank has the full package: it’s smart, it’s scary, and it’s a lot of fun.

Production

Green Bank is being produced by Andy Horwitz ‘s Big Swell Entertainment , behind films such as American Hustle, Triple Frontier and Suicide Squad . Meanwhile, Protagonist Pictures will handle international sales at the Berlin Film Festival’s European Film Market.
