The mobile’s main feature is the commitment to the so-called stylus, a pencil that is used by other brands such as Samsung and Motorola , but in premium cell phones.
TCL Stylus 5G Specifications
The TCL Stylus 5G phone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip with 5G support. To this is added a configuration of 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, although with an expansion of up to 2TB.
Its screen is a 6.81” LCD with NXTVISION technology. It maintains an aspect ratio of 20.5:8, with a resolution of 2460×1080 pixels.
On the camera side, it has a 13MP front and 50MP rear combination plus a 5MP ultra-wide angle, a 2MP macro lens, and a depth lens of the same number of megapixels.
Its battery is 4000 mAh, with a fast charge of 18W.
As for the stylus, the TCL Stylus 5G has a built-in storage slot for your stylus along with a number of pre-installed stylus apps. There is a feature similar to Samsung’s screen off note that allows you to start taking notes without unlocking your phone first. There are also dedicated shortcuts for taking screenshots and creating custom GIFs. And thanks to a partnership with MyScript, the phone also comes with free subscriptions to the Nebo and MyScript Calculator apps, which let you convert handwritten notes or formulas to text.
The phone stylus is a passive stylus, so it cannot be used as a remote camera shutter or presentation tool.
