The synopsis

The year is 1995 and Leia Forman is desperate for a little adventure or at least a close friend who isn’t her father. When she arrives at Point Place to visit her grandparents Red and Kitty, she finds exactly what she’s looking for on her doorstep… lively and rebellious Gwen. With the help of Gwen’s friends, including adorable brother Nate and his smart and determined girlfriend Nikki, the sarcastic and wise-cracking Ozzie and the charming Jay, Leia discovers that adventure is at hand, just as it had been for her parents many years ago. Eager to reinvent herself, she convinces her parents to let her stay all summer. With a basement full of teenagers once again, Kitty is pleased that the Forman home has become a haven for a new generation, while Red… well, remains the old Red.
