THE AFTERPARTY: JOHN CHO ALSO JOINS THE CAST IN SEASON 2

After the cancellation of Cowboy Bebop , John Cho has found a new streaming project: the actor has in fact joined the cast of The Afterparty , Cho will play a character called Ulysses.

The actor will join Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson and Zoë Chao , who will return from season 1, and new entries  Elizabeth Perkins, Zach Woods, Paul Walter Hauser, Poppy Liu, Anna Konkle, Jack Whitehall,  Vivian Wu and Ken Jeong .

The Afterparty is created and directed by Chris Miller  and executive produced by him along with partner Phil Lord (the two directed 21 Jump Street and The Lego Movie ). In addition to directing, Chris Miller is also showrunner and executive producer alongside Phil Lord on behalf of the couple’s production company, Lord-Miller . Tony-nominated and Emmy-nominated writer, producer and performer Anthony King ( Search Party, Dead to Me ) will be co-showrunner on season 2, and is also an executive producer. Aubrey Lee, Lord Miller’s Senior Vice President of Television, produces the series, which was produced for Apple by TriStar TV and Sony Pictures Television as part of Lord and Miller’s extensive five-year television deal.

Season 2 of The Afterparty will focus on a new case, a murder during a wedding. This time around, Sam Richardson and Zoë Chao as Aniq and Zoe will lead the investigation, but Tiffany Haddish’s Detective Danner will join them.
