The final three episodes of The Bad Guy were released today on Amazon Prime Video , which released the trailer.
The series created by Ludovica Rampoldi, Davide Serino and Giuseppe G. Stasi sees Luigi Lo Cascio in the role of Nino Scotellaro , an upright Sicilian public prosecutor who has dedicated his entire life to the fight against the mafia. When a mobster mentions his name, however, Nino is accused of being exactly what he has always fought against, and not even the efforts of his colleague Luvi ( Claudia Pandolfi ) are enough to exonerate him. Nino then elaborates a complex plan of revenge that transforms him into exactly what the public opinion thinks of him: if he can’t be a hero, then he will be a villain.

The Bad Guy combines crime with dark comedy and tells the incredible story of Nino Scotellaro, a Sicilian prosecutor who has dedicated his entire life to the fight against the mafia and who is suddenly accused of being one of those he has always fought: a mobster. After the sentence, with nothing left to lose, Nino decides to carry out a Machiavellian plan of revenge, becoming the “bad guy” into which he has been unjustly transformed.
