The Batman is available onHBO Maxin the US.
And the online platform has released an interesting backstage showing the use of StageCraft technology in the production of the film.
This is the same technique used by The Mandalorian : instead of the usual blue screens , the set is surrounded by LED screens that project the settings, thus offering a point of reference for the actors and for the cinematographer, who in this case is Greig Fraser (the latter had already used it in The Mandalorian ). Director Matt Reeves points out that for the first time this system is being used to reproduce metropolitan scenarios. The stage is called The Volume, and it completely envelops the space in which the cast works.

THE BATMAN is a tense, action-packed thriller that shows Batman in his early years, struggling to balance anger and righteousness as he investigates a haunting mystery that has terrified Gotham. The screenplay
The script is the work of director Matt Reeves and Peter Craig , the latter known for The Town , the two parts of The Hunger Games: The Song of Revolt and The Unforgivable . The production is handled by himself together with Dylan Clark , his partner in the Planet of the Apes films .
The director of photography is Greig Fraser . The music is by Michael Giacchino .
