During the Easter holidays The Batman became the fourth DC title to cross the £ 40 million mark at the UK and Irish box office.
The Matt Reeves -directed film has so far earned £ 40.3m, surpassing Suicide Squad (2016) which grossed £ 33.6M at the end of March, in the second weekend in April the film surpassed Batman v Superman at £ 36.6M.
