The Book of Boba Fett , the spin-off series of The Mandalorian , made its debut on Disney + yesterday(HERE isour review).
The first episode answered some questions regarding the past of the mercenary at the center of the story, offering an explanation of how Boba Fett survived the Sarlacc well. Speaking of this moment, fans have noticed a strong resemblance to a moment from another series, Parks and Recreation .
The reference is to episode 19 of season 5, in whichPatton Oswaltreads the possible story for a seventh Star Wars movie (at the time it had not yet been made).
Parks and Recreation predicted The Book of Boba Fett
Well, as the video below, also released by Oswalt himself, demonstrates, that moment fits perfectly with the scene in the Star Wars series . Coincidence or a real tribute? Judge for yourself …
To say I’m touched is putting it lightly. And yeah, #BookofBobaFett ROCKS. YOU’RE WELCOME. https://t.co/gmmjVNCtS4
