The spin-off of The Boys has changed its skin… and also the cast. Chance Perdomo has already replaced Shane Paul McGhie , while now we find that London Thor ( Lady Bird, Shameless ) will take over from Reina Hardesty .

Also joining the cast were Derek Luh ( Shining Vale ), Shelley Conn ( Bridgerton ) and newcomer Asa Germann , all with regular roles.

We don’t know which characters they will play, but we can imagine that they will all be students of America’s only college for young superheroes, obviously run by Vought International . Eric Kripke , showrunner of the original series, said the universe of The Boys can expand by touching different genres, such as the films and series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but with a lot more obscenities.

The spin-off – now in production – will be released on Amazon Prime Video . We will keep you posted.

The setting

As of yet untitled, this new series will be set in America’s only college for young superheroes, run by Vought International . The show is described as follows:

An irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of some hormonal and competitive “super” as they test their physical, sexual and moral limits.

The spin-off will combine the pitfalls of a university-set show with the raw, competitive nature of The Hunger Games , and the heart, satire and obscenity of the main series.

The cast

For the moment, the cast includes Maddie Phillips , Lizze Broadway , Jaz Sinclair , Chance Perdomo , London Thor , Derek Luh and Asa Germann .

The authors

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters are showrunners , serving as executive producers with Eric Kripke , Seth Rogen , Evan Goldberg , Neal Moritz , James Weaver and Payun Shetty . The studios involved are Point Gray Pictures , Original Film , Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television .
