Actors Garduño Cruz and Juan Francisco González Aguilar reportedly lost their lives. Six other cast and crew members were injured.
Last Thursday, the production pickup truck lost control while traveling near Mulege on the Baja Carlifornia Sur peninsula. No further details have been revealed about this tragic incident.
The series
The Chosen One series is based on the American Jesus comic by Mark Millar and Peter Gross . At the center of the story is a 12-year-old who discovers he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. Everardo Gout ( Luke Cage, Banshee ) is the director and also participates as showrunner with Leopoldo Gout ( Molly’s Game ).
