After Big Sky , ABC also opted to cancel The Company You Keep , the spy series starring Milo Ventimiglia .
The series, produced by 20th Television, did not achieve the success of the other two titles presented by the network in the middle of the season, Will Trent and Not Dead Yet . The first has already been renewed for a second season, the other is very likely to be.
The Company You Keep was also executive produced by Ventimiglia, who has a strong relationship with Disney, having starred in six seasons of This Is Us , produced by 20th Television for the NBC network. So it seemed that ABC was planning to give the series a partial second season to help it find an audience. But in the end it didn’t happen that way.
