The series was made in collaboration with King Features Syndicate , the company that also owns the rights to famous comic book characters such as Popeye , Garfield and Archie . The style is strongly influenced by the American cartoons of the 30s, like the original videogame.
The cast
The original cast of The Cuphead Series! includes the voices of Tru Valentino (Cuphead), Frank Todaro (Mugman), Joe Hanna, Luke Millington-Drake, Gray Griffin and Wayne Brady . The series will consist of twelve episodes and will arrive on Netflix on February 18th.

Created by brothers Chad and Jared Moldenhauer and released in 2017 by Studio MDHR, the original game was critically lauded and sold over four million copies worldwide, also winning multiple awards. Cuphead ‘s look is inspired by the classic cartoons produced by Fleischer Studios in the 1930s.
Protagonists of the videogame Cuphead and his brother Mugman. The two must go through a series of levels and fight a series of bosses to pay off their deal with the Devil. CJ Kettler , producer, also for Netflix, of Carmen Sandiego , will work on the series as an executive producer with the Moldenhauer brothers and Dave Wasson , screenwriter and director of the recent Mickey Mouse shorts .
