We are thrilled with the public response to The Devil’s Hour, and can’t wait to share the next chapter in this incredible story. Fans of the series can only look forward to new twists from this exceptional story created by Tom Moran, in his series debut, and welcome back to our extremely talented cast led by Jessica Raine and Peter Capaldi.

said Dan Grabiner, head of UK Originals, Amazon Studios.

The Devil’s Hour is produced by Hartswood Films (Dracula, Sherlock), written by Tom Moran, and executive produced by Steven Moffat ( Doctor Who , Dracula , Sherlock ), Moran, and Sue Vertue ( Dracula , Sherlock ).

Sue Vertue, executive producer and CEO of Hartswood Films, said:

It goes without saying that we are delighted to be able to continue Lucy’s story with two new seasons. Tom Moran and his brilliant mind still have a lot in store for us. The series has always been designed as a story arc of three seasons and will be an exciting experience.

Adds Tom Moran, creator and screenwriter:

Telling a story for TV isn’t easy at all. The Devil’s Hour Season 1 was just the beginning – the prologue to a TV novel. I am so happy to be able to keep turning the pages and gradually putting the puzzle pieces in place. If you thought the last episode of Season 1 held all the answers, maybe you haven’t asked the right questions.

The second and third seasons of The Devil’s Hour continue the growth of British Originals available on Prime Video, joining the series and films produced overseas available between 2022 and 2023. These include 007’s Road to a Million, a James Bond-inspired unscripted adventure series; a film about YouTuber KSI with executive producer Louis Theroux; the true-crime series The Confession; The Rig, with Martin Compston and Emily Hampshire; Mammals, written by Jez Butterworth and starring James Corden and Sally Hawkins; and My Policeman, with Harry Styles, Emma Corrin, and David Dawson.
