Apparently, the focus of the film will be terrorists who “have taken possession of nuclear missiles on a cargo ship” and threaten to start World War III. It will therefore be up to the mercenaries led by Lee Christmas ( Jason Statham ) to stop the bad guys. The trailer also promises “new blood” on the team, represented by 50 Cent, Megan Fox, Andy Garcia, and villain Iko Uwais , star of The Raid .
Cast and direction
The cast of The Expendables 4 will bring back Jason Statham , promoted to protagonist and team leader, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Tony Jaa and Randy Couture . With them Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, Andy Garcia and Iko Uwais . The film will arrive in the US on September 22 and will be directed by Scott Waugh ( Act of Valor, Need for Speed ).
