This was revealed by The Wrap , which however does not report other details on the reshoots.

The future of The Flash has come under the scrutiny of the press recently, following numerous allegations of inappropriate conduct, grooming, and even burglary filed against star Ezra Miller .

Recently, Miller released a statement , breaking the silence on the facts for the first time:

Having recently been through a period of intense crisis, I now understand that I suffer from complex mental health problems and have started treatment to overcome them. I want to apologize to everyone, for having alarmed and upset because of my behavior. I will strive to do all the work necessary to return to a healthy, safe and productive phase of my life.

On August 24th, Miller and his agent, Scott Metzger , met with the new managers of Warner Bros. , Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy , and during the meeting Miller would have reiterated his willingness to support The Flash . There are also very positive rumors about test screening. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film achieved a very high rating, the highest received by a similar film since the Batman trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan .

Therefore, the desire, both on the part of Warner Bros. Discovery and Ezra Miller, to continue the collaboration would emerge. We will see if this is really the case.

The Flash release date is currently set for June 23, 2023.
