Is streaming the enemy of cinema?
This is a question that regularly comes up but if we take into consideration the story we are about to illustrate, the answer is unequivocally YES .
But let’s proceed in order.
In the last few days, a video went viral on TikTok and started traveling around the world.
The video in question was made in an American cinema, before the screening of The Grinch , the animated film dedicated to the famous green monster created by Dr. Seuss . Nothing wrong with that, you might say, it’s a perfect Christmas classic for the period.
The problem is that the cinema in question was trying to show the film by taking it directly from Amazon Prime Video . Streaming has had some problems, however, as the video demonstrates.
Ahaha I’m crying. This movie theater supposedly tried to play The Grinch from Amazon Prime!

What happened
According to reports, on that day the cinema was promoting a series of screenings at a cost of two dollars, drawing from the Amazon Prime Video catalog , in fact. The Grinch was not the only film planned, it seems that there were others in other theaters. And it is precisely due to this the error message that you see on the screen, which emphasizes that too many users are using the same account.
Something not allowed
Obviously this is not allowed. Prime Video , like any other platform, prohibits the screening of its contents in places such as cinemas, even more so if for a fee. Precisely for this reason, measures could arrive against the structure, which currently enjoys anonymity.
