We don’t often see Din Djarin unmasked, also because the Mandalorian code prevents him from taking off his helmet in front of others: fortunately.
however, marketing follows very different laws, and Pedro Pascal can pose for the cover of Empire together with Katee Sackhoff ( Bo Katan ). With them, of course, there is also Grogu .
The situation between Din and Bo is not simple: our hero has in fact conquered the Darksaber in a duel against Moff Gideon , without knowing that in this way he would have become its rightful owner, and he could not have given it to Bo . It will be interesting to find out how their relationship will evolve in the third season of The Mandalorian . The cover for subscribers instead portrays eleven helmets of as many Mandalorians, all different.
Speaking to the magazine, Pascal promises big things for the new episodes:
What I love most about season 3 is its great openness to the world of Mandalore and the Mandalorians. It means that there will be many different facets in terms of culture, politics, rules and discoveries. Delicious doors will open.
Katee Sackhoff also points out that season 3 will be “big, bold and different.” As for the journey of her character, however, the actress suggests that Bo will have to make difficult choices:
We know the family into which she was born; Now, which family will she choose? What will it look like.
As we know, the new episodes will be directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard . Here is the synopsis:
The Mandalorian’s journeys across the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark past. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies, as he and Grogu continue their journey together.
It premieres March 1 on Disney+ . You can see the covers below, along with a new photo.
