The Menu , theMark MylodstarringAnya Taylor-Joy, Nicholas HoultandRalph Fiennes, will arrive on Disney+ on January 4, as the platform recently announced.
The Menu did quite well in Italy: it exceeded 2 million euros and is currently still in the Top 10 at the box office.
In the world it grossed 65 million from a budget of 30, and therefore managed more or less to recover the costs.

In The Menu, a couple, Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Tyler (Nicholas Hoult), travel to a coastal island in the northwestern United States to eat at an upscale restaurant, Hawthorn, where reclusive Chef Julian Slowik ( World famous Ralph Fiennes has prepared a sumptuous tasting menu for some specially selected special guests. In addition to the couple, there are three young, already drunk computer scientists, Bryce (Rob Yang), Soren (Arturo Castro) and Dave (Mark St. Cyr), a well-to-do, older couple made up of two regulars at the restaurant, Anne and Richard (Judith Light and Reed Birney), celebrated food critic Lillian Bloom (Janet McTeer) and her fawning editor-in-chief Ted (Paul Adelstein), and a famous middle-aged movie star (John Leguizamo) with his assistant Felicity ( Aimee Carrero). Organized by the immaculately dressed members of the waiting staff, headed by General Elsa (Hong Chau), the evening is dominated by a mounting tension that hovers over each guest table as secrets are revealed and unexpected dishes are served. As insane and violent events unfold, Slowik’s true motives begin to unsettle the patrons, and it becomes increasingly clear that his elaborate menu is planned to culminate in a shocking ending.
