Which animated feature films will arrive in our cinemas next year?
Some distributors have revealed their upcoming releases, but only in the coming months will we discover the entire lists. Think of Nexo Digital which only revealed the first part of the 2022 anime season.
Similar problem also for what concerns the releases on the platforms, moreover the pandemic has slowed down some projects and caused the postponement of several titles.
The most anticipated film is undoubtedly Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse closely followed by Lightyear and Slam Dunk . Here is a brief overview of the most anticipated animated films of 2022.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One)
Part one of the 2018 film sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson here on their debut feature.
Without doubt the most anticipated animated film of the year, it will continue the adventures of Miles Morales.

Recall that on January 14 will debut on Amazon Prime Video Hotel Transylvania: A Monstrous Exchange! the final chapter of the franchise, written by Genndy Tartakovsky the creator of the series.

Twenty-fifth Pixar film and first feature film by director Domee Shi , co-writer of the film with Julia Cho . The protagonist of the film is the thirteen-year-old Meilin “Mei” Lee who, when she gets too excited or is too stressed, turns into a giant red panda.

Lightyear
Twenty-sixth Pixar film, tells the origins of Buzz Lightyear ( Chris Evans ) the hero who inspired the Toy Story toy. The film directed by Angus MacLane (co-director of Finding Dory ) follows a young test pilot who becomes a Space Ranger.

Strange World
New film from director Donald Lee “Don” Hall , the director of Big Hero 6 and co-director of Raya and the Last Dragon . The film follows the adventures of the legendary Clades family of explorers.

The studio will also distribute Bob’s Burger – The Movie (20th Century Studios) coming May 25 and Ice Age: Buck’s Adventures from March 25 on Disney + animated by Bardel Entertainment ( Rick & Morty ).

The film tells the story of Kanna ( voiced by Aju Makita ), a girl who loses her love of running after her mother’s death. One day a rabbit with a wing named Shiro ( Maaya Sakamoto the voice of Hitomi in Escaflowne), who is a shinshi (a messenger of the gods), and an oni boy (ogre) named Yato ( Miyu Irino ) appear in front of her. Haku’s voice in the Enchanted City). Kanna crosses the border that separates people and gods, and is invited to Izumo.
