The Unicode Consortium , the body that governs emojis, ensures that 92% of people online use emojis and has shared its list of the most used this 2021.
As in 2019, the “happy tears” (😂) emoji is once again the most widely used emoji.
According to Unicode, this means more than 5% use of emojis, followed by the red heart (❤️).
