Netflix has released a new featurette of The Mother , an action film directed by Niki Caro , director of Mulan , arriving on the platform on May 12th.

Protagonist Jennifer Lopez , who plays a ruthless killer who has been hidden for years in the wilderness returns from Alaska to save the daughter she has never stopped loving, even if from afar.
The cast also includes Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci and Gael Garcia Bernal .
