The Apple Watch Series 8 could tell their wearers that they have a fever.
Smartwatches are moving towards total health monitoring and one of the basic points for users is to know if they have a fever or not. And that wants to solve Apple .
According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg , Apple will bring a body temperature detector in its next Apple Watch Series 8 , which would give notices to people if they have a fever to rest or attend a medical consultation.
Apple Watch and fever
According to the report, this temperature sensor will not work constantly, but will only alert when it is considered that there is a fever in the user.
“You can expect some new health tracking features in this year’s Apple Watch. Back in April, I reported that Apple was aiming to add body temperature detection to its Series 8 model, assuming the capability passes internal testing. I now believe the feature is an option for both the standard Apple Watch Series 8 and a new rugged edition aimed at extreme sports athletes,” Gurman said in the newsletter.
Apple has frequently added new health sensors and capabilities to the Apple Watch, with the latest addition being the blood oxygen sensor on the Apple Watch Series 6.
Improvements in the Apple Watch Series 8
In addition to this big addition, the Apple Watch Series 8 is expected to keep the same design as the Apple Watch Series 7, including the same processor as the Series 6 and 7. Gurman also noted that the Apple Watch Series 8 could include updated screens . on high-end models.
