TikTok announced last year that it will add a ‘Stories’ feature to its platform, similar to those on Snapchat and Instagram , and is now testing it out with some users.
Popular short video app TikTok announced last year that it will add Stories to its platform to compete against Snapchat and Instagram . At the moment, TikTok Stories is not yet available to all users, as the social network continues to experiment with a design that integrates Stories with its main page.
As reported on Twitter by social media consultant Matt Navarra, TikTok Stories appears in the ‘For you’ feed instead of having a separate tab.
When the user scrolls through the feed, the photos and videos in the Stories will be marked by a blue label.
– Creating a new story is now done via the ‘+’ button instead of via the side bar
– The new stories create mode is called ‘Quick’
– Multi-part stories are viewed in your FYP by tapping the video

TikTok ‘Quick’
In camera mode, the name “Quick” can be seen, which suggests that the company is still thinking about the correct name of its function.
Like Stories on other platforms, each TikTok ‘Quick ‘ will automatically disappear after 24 hours, and will also allow anyone to view Stories shared by a public profile.
It is not yet clear when TikTok Stories will debut the new design of its feature and also if it will be available to the public.
