THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY – A VIDEO SUMMARIZES SEASON 2

There is just over a week left until the release of the third season of The Umbrella Academy (exceptionally on Wednesdays), and Netflix has released a video that summarizes the events of the second.

A review is useful, especially when we consider the overlapping of timelines that characterize the adventures of our down-and-out heroes. After risking destroying the world again – and saving it for the broken headphone – Allison ( Emmy Raver-Lampman ), Luther ( Tom Hopper ), Number 5 ( Aidan Gallagher ), Klaus ( Robert Sheehan ), Diego ( David Castañeda ) and Viktor ( Elliot Page ) are back in the present, but find themselves in an alternate timeline in which Sir Reginald HargreevesColm Feore ) is still alive, and leads a team called Sparrow Academy . The revived Ben ( Justin H. Min ) is also part of the group.

The new episodes draw inspiration from Hotel Oblivion , the third volume of the comic by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá . The debut is expected on June 22 on Netflix . You will find the video of the summary below.

The recap of season 2

The synopsis of season 3

After preventing the end of the world in 1963, Umbrella Academy returns home to the present, convinced that they can avert the initial apocalypse and fix this damn timeline once and for all. But after a brief celebration, they realize that things are not quite (okay, not at all) how they left them. Here is the Sparrow Academy. Smart, stylish, and as hot as the Arctic Ocean, Sparrow immediately collides with Umbrella in a violent battle that turns out to be everyone’s last concern. Through challenges, losses and surprises – and facing an unidentified destructive entity wreaking havoc in the Universe (one thing they may have caused them) – now all they have to do is get Dad’s new and possibly better family to help them fix that. that they caused with their arrival. Will they find their way into their pre-apocalyptic lives? Or will this new world turn out to be more than a timeline hiccup?

The synopsis of the series

On the same day in 1989, forty-three babies are born in various parts of the world to women who do not know each other and who had shown no signs of pregnancy until the day before. Seven are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire industrialist, who gives life to Umbrella Academy and prepares his “children” to save the world. But his plans go up in smoke. In the teenage years, internal family fractures lead to the disbandment of the team. The death of Hargreeves brings together the six surviving members, who are now in their 30s. Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Vanya and Number Five work together to try to find out what lies behind the mysterious death of their father. But the family thus recomposed is again divided by divergent personalities and conflicting abilities,
