The synopsis:

In the wake of the overwhelming presence of grasshoppers, an even greater force is breaking down on every single member of each community. With the Commonwealth flags hoisted at Hilltop, Alexandria and Oceanside, there is no time for those on the road to strategize. It’s a race against time to stay alive and take out those who still live in the Commonwealth before Hornsby can take revenge on him.

Connie’s article has created more chaos than expected within the Commonwealth. By exposing Milton’s corruption, the hope of creating a better and fairer life for all could put anyone at risk. With the huge debt of the group and the absence of another valid place to live, leaving was never an option. But if their next move fails, they won’t stay either. What they are about to undertake will only increase the dangers and consequences. Time also passes for the protagonists within the Commonwealth.

As each group continues to find themselves in uncontrollable situations, both live and dead threats lurk around every corner. The looming pressure is getting closer and closer towards the day of reckoning for all. Will the sum of their individual journeys converge into one or divide them forever? The struggle for a future continues to be exasperated by the menacing population of the wanderers. Not all will survive, but for some the walking dead live on.
