The episodes will air in the US starting October 2 (3 on Disney +). The grand finale of the series will arrive on Sunday November 20 (and therefore Monday 21 on Disney +).

The synopsis of the new episodes

In the upcoming final episodes of The Walking Dead , threats pop up from every corner, both dead and alive, as each group continues to find themselves in uncontrollable situations. The growing pressure is mounting towards a showdown for all. Will their individual paths be able to add up to one? Or will they divide them forever?

The trailer also reveals that the zombies are starting to evolve, they are able to climb over fences and open doors. It will be interesting to see this evolution after eleven seasons.

The panel

The Comic-Con panel was attended by The Walking Dead Chief Content Officer , Scott M. Gimple , showrunner Angela Kang , special effects director and supervisor Greg Nicotero and performers Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Josh McDermitt, Ross Marquand , Seth Gilliam, Lauren Ridloff, Cailey Fleming and Michael James Shaw . Here are some pictures.

During the panel, Norman Reedus stated that “the story of Daryl and Carol is not over yet”. It is not clear, for now, what the actor is referring to: we know that Melissa McBride has left the spin-off on Daryl and Carol to take a break, and the series has been reconfigured as a solo adventure of Daryl. set in Europe. Maybe there is an intention to let Carol in later, maybe in a second season. All that remains is to wait.
