THE WILDS CANCELED BY AMAZON AFTER TWO SEASONS

The Wilds , the series created bySarah Streicherand distributed by Prime Video over the course of two seasons, has been canceled by Amazon.

Apparently, the cast and crew of the series have just been informed of the decision, made just under three months after the release of season 2 on May 6.

At the time of the first season’s launch on December 11, 2020, The Wilds had made a lot of talk and Amazon had quickly decided on the renewal. Season 2, sadly, was far less successful than the first.

The plot

The Wilds centers on a group of teenage girls who find themselves shipwrecked on an island after a plane crash, and soon discover that it’s all part of a social experiment.

Cast and writers

The cast consists of Rachel Griffiths, David Sullivan, Troy Winbush, Sophia Ali, Sarah Pidgeon, Jenna Clause, Erana James, Mia Healey, Helena Howard, Reign Edwards and Shannon Berry . With them Zack Calderon, Aidan Laprete, Nicholas Coombe, Charles Alexander, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Reed Shannon, Tanner Ray Rook and Alex Fitzalan . The series is written and produced by  Sarah Streicher , who has gained international attention as the screenwriter of Daredevil . Amy B. Harris participates as showrunner and executive producer.
