As we know, in The Witcher: Blood Origin , the prequel to The Witcher , there is also Jaskier , the character played by Joey Batey in the original series.

The official synopsis
Every story has a beginning. Discover the untold history of the Continent with The Witcher: Blood Origin , a new prequel series set in an elven world 1200 years before the events of The Witcher , Blood Origin tells a legend lost in time, exploring the creation of the first witcher prototype and the events leading up to the crucial “Conjunction of the Spheres”, when the universes of monsters, men and elves merged into one world. The Witcher: Blood Origin is out in 2022, only on Netflix.
The cast
The cast includes Laurence O’Fuarain ( Vikings , Game Of Thrones ) as the warrior Fjall, Michelle Yeoh as the elf Scían, and Sophia Brown as Éile. Filming is due to begin shortly in the UK and it has been confirmed that Sarah O’Gorman ( Cursed ) and Vicky Jewson (Close) will be behind the camera .

Andrzej Sapkowski , author of the original novels on which The Witcher series is based, will serve as creative consultant. Jason Brown, Sean Daniel, Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko are also executive producers .
