A new study has ranked the Android phones  that emit the most radiation.

According to Bankless Times , some of the older models from Google, Sony, Motorola or OPPO emit the most radiation. Its launch was up to five years ago, so its current market share is minimal.

What are the Android phones that emit the most radiation?

The study classifies devices based on their Specific Absorption Rates (SAR), which measure how quickly the body absorbs RF energy.

According to the list, the one that emits the most is the Motorola Edge with an index of 1.79 watts per kilo. The list continues with ZTE’s Axon 11 5G and OnePlus 6T.

The phones that follow are the Xperia XA2 Plus , Pixel 3XL , Pixel 4a , Oppo Reno5 5G , Xperia XZ1 Compat , Pixel 3 and One Plus 6 .

What should be noted is that, with the exception of the Edge, the other devices are below the maximum indicated by the Federal Communication Commission of the United States, which limits the maximum SAR to 1.6 watts per kilo.

What’s more, even with Moto equipment exceeding this average, “there is no consistent or credible scientific evidence of health problems caused by exposure to radio frequency energy emitted by cell phones,” according to the FCC.
