The list of best chips continues with Qualcomm nailed to the top spot, but with a significant advance from rival MediaTek .
Mobile device performance and statistics program, AnTuTu , has released its list of the best chips for the month of March.
While the references were taken prior to the launch of Qualcomm ‘s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 favoring MediaTek ‘s Dimensity 9000 , the AnTuTu listing is still dominated by Qualcomm .
According to the list, eight out of ten mobile devices are powered by Snapdragon ‘s latest flagship , but a MediaTek can be seen in fourth place for the first time.
The best SoCs for smartphones
The REDMAGIC 7 Pro came out on top with a score crossing the one million line and hot on their heels is iQOO9 and iQOO9 Pro in second and third place respectively.
In fourth place we see the Redmi K50 Pro implemented with the Dimensity 9000 SoC with a score of almost one million, while in sixth place Dimensity repeats aboard the OPPO Find X5 Pro .
The list is dominated by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000, no other chip has climbed to the top lists. The Galaxy S22 Ultra with the Exynos 2200 briefly appeared on the February list, since then there are no new competitors.
The Dimensity 9000 adopts the most advanced TSMC 4nm process along with unique architectural technology. The CPU is a combination of 1x X2 super core , 3x A710 large core and 4x A510 small core , which is ARM ‘s latest flagship innovation.
