TMNT: Cena, Chan & Rudd lend voices to new animated film

There’s a new animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film on the horizon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem , produced by Seth Rogen ‘s Point Gray .


And now Rogen himself has revealed the film’s incredible voice cast. During the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, Rogen announced that the voices will include John Cena, Jackie Chan, Giancarlo Esposito, Paul Rudd and Ice Cube .

Let’s start with the four protagonists: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be voiced by Micah Abbey (Donatello), Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo), Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo) and Brady Noon (Raffaello). Rogen himself will voice Bebop, while John Cena will be his partner Rocksteady.

The rest of the cast will include Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Jackie Chan as Master Splinter. Ice Cube as Superfly, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Ayo Edebiri , star of The Bear , as April O’Neil. And finally Giancarlo Esposito as the voice of Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko and Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will be released in US cinemas on August 4th. Directed by Jeff Rowe ( The Mitchells vs. the Machines ). The film, produced by Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies and Point Gray Productions, will be the first animated feature film for Nickelodeon.
