Tokyo Revengers , the live action adaptation based on the Japanese comic of the same name by Ken Wakui (Shinjuku Swan) published by J-Pop , is available on Crunchyroll Italia .
Released in summer 2021 in Japan, the film grossed ¥4.5 billion placing it fifth in the Top 10 grossers of 2022 at the Japanese box office. In second place in the ranking of live action films.

The synopsis of the film:
Takemichi Hanagaki (Takumi Kitamura) is a 26-year-old freeter. His life is essentially miserable. One day, he learns from the news that Hinata Tachibana and her younger brother Naoto Tachibana (Yosuke Sugino) have been killed by the Tokyo Manjikai Gang. Takemichi Hanagaki is stunned by the news, because Hinata Tachibana was his first love in middle school.
The next day, Takemichi Hanagaki is pushed onto the station platform by someone and falls onto the tracks. At that moment, he goes back 10 years into the past. There he tells Naoto Tachibana that in 10 years Hinata Tachibana will be killed. This changes the present. Now Naoto Tachibana works as a detective and avoids being killed by the Tokyo Manjikai Gang, but Hinata Tachibana’s fate is different. She is killed by the Tokyo Manjikai Gang.
Takemichi Hanagaki asks Detective Naoto Tachibana for help. He wants to save Hinata Tachibana by going back in time to destroy the Tokyo Manjikai Gang.
The manga
The publication of the manga, which began in March 2017, will end on November 16, 2022 in the Weekly Shōnen Magazine . In the magazine’s interview with the author, Wakui said that he decided on the series finale when he was publishing the “Bloody Halloween” arc.
Wakui has also published Tokyo Revengers Extra, the Tokyo Revengers – So Young collection , an anthology of color short stories dedicated to the youth of Touman members. Tokyo Revengers spin-off: Tokyo Revengers – Letter from Keisuke Baji by Natsukawaguchi Yukinori is published on the Magazine Pocket app , focusing on the characters: Keisuke Baji and Chifuyu Matsuno.
The 31st and final volume was released in Japan in January. In Italy the manga is published by the J-Pop publishing house , number 26 will be released in April.
