Imagine choosing a nice day for an excursion.
Your destination? The Lake District, a mountainous region in the north west of England, world famous for its lakes and mountains.
A suggestive place, able to give many emotions. To all this, add now… Tom Cruise!
This is what happened to some lucky hikers, who, during their trip, came across the actor, busy with the filming of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part 2 .
As revealed by the Northern Echo , which reported the statements of two witnesses, Adam Wheeler and Lucy Hinch :
He was warm, kind and very humble. He apologized for the noise from the helicopters and made sure we were okay. He made sure everyone present could take a picture with him. We were the last. After our photo, he paraglided and returned to base camp near Buttermere.
Specifically, Tom Cruise was busy with one of his spectacular stunts:
One helicopter carried him to the top, while another filmed him as he paraglided. We saw that he repeated the scene several times.
“You never know who your going to meet on the fells , imagine our surprise when ‘Tom Cruise ‘ jumped out of a helicopter on top of High Crag Buttermere and then paraglided down off the mountain, what a nice fella”
