SERIETV, News

True Story will arrive on Netflix on November 24, a limited series that will see Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes as two brothers. Hart plays Kid, one of the most famous comedians in the world who, during a stop on his tour in Philadelphia, where he was born and raised, must decide how far he wants to go to protect what he has. We’ve already seen the official photos of the series, and now here’s the first trailer.

The plot

True Story sees Hart as Kid, a fictional version of himself. Kid is a world-famous comedian who makes a stop in his hometown of Philadelphia on a tour. There, the situation soon turns into a matter of life and death as Kid faces the aftermath of a forgotten evening with his unpredictable older brother Carlton (Snipes), which threaten to destroy his career and everything he has built.

The cast also includes Billy Zane , Tawny Newsome ( Space Force , Star Trek: Lower Decks ), Paul Adelstein ( The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel ), Will Catlett ( Black Lightning ), Chris Diamantopoulos ( Silicon Valley ), Lauren London ( Without Remorse ), Ash Santos ( American Horror Story: Apocalypse ) and John Ales ( Euphoria ).
