Twitter prepares the collection of tickets for live audio rooms

Hosts will now be able to sell tickets to their Spaces from $ 1 to $ 999. Twitter will take the 3 percent cut.

Twitter announced that it is implementing a new way to access Spaces, called Ticketed Spaces, where users will be able to access live audio rooms by paying a ticket; now, the social network is testing this new function with iOS users.

Spaces are the version of Twitter to compete against Clubhouse, an audio-only chat application that became popular for hosting various celebrities.

“We want to help people who create great spaces earn $$$. Today some hosts will be able to make ticket slots! “the company said through the official Spaces Twitter account

Twitter Spaces

Twitter wants to exploit all the possibilities with its Spaces platform; the hosts can take advantage of the live audios to carry out workshops, conversations with famous people, among other activities.

Applicants must have hosted at least three Spaces in the last 30 days and have at least 1,000 followers to apply for ticket charges. Only people over the age of 18 can use.

The price is at the host’s discretion, and you can also control how many people enter the audio room, setting a limit from 5 or even 100, according to Twitter.
