The film directed by Ruben Fleischer , now in Italian cinemas, obviously aims to launch a franchise and the scenes in question go precisely in this direction.

What happens in Uncharted’s first post-credit scene?

In the first scene, set in a prison cell, we discover that Sam Drake, the brother of Nate (Tom Holland), is still alive. Sully (Mark Wahlberg) had told Nate that Sam (Rudy Pankow) was killed by Braddock (Tati Gabrielle), but apparently that’s not the case. Sam is writing a postcard addressed to Nate, warning him to watch his back. Although the story of the film is made up, this is a direct reference to video games, where we discover that Sam is alive and in a prison in Panama.

The second scene in the credits

The second scene, in part, was also shown in the videos released for the launch of the film.
Nate is busy negotiating with a mysterious character played by Pilou Asbaek , famous for his role as Euron Greyjoy in Game of Thrones . Nate is ready to give up his ring in exchange for a map that belonged to the Nazis, but the man tries to frame him to keep both the map and the ring. The character played by Asbaek is called Gage and works for Gabriel Roman , a name that video game fans know very well, given that he is the villain of the first chapter of the saga.
In any case, Sully takes care of the situation, who appears a little late and allows Nate to retrieve the map and ring. Mark Wahlberg ‘s character has a mustache, just like in video games and this is the fragment of the scene that was shown to us in the trailers.

The cast

The cast of the film includes Tom Holland ( Nathan Drake ), Mark Wahlberg ( Sully ), Antonio Banderas , Sophia Ali and Tati Gabrielle .

The plot

Based on one of the best-selling and critically acclaimed video game series, Uncharted introduces the crafty young Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) to audiences in his first treasure hunt adventure with witty partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). . In an epic action-packed adventure that spans the entire world, the two protagonists set out on a perilous search for the “greatest treasure ever found”, chasing clues that could lead them to Nathan’s long-missing brother.

Young Nathan Drake

Tom Holland lends his face to a young Nathan Drake , the protagonist of an entirely new storyline, never told in video games. The film is in fact an origin story: we will discover how Nathan met his great friend and mentor Victor Sullivan , aka Sully , and we will see his evolution into a treasure hunter.

The screenplay

The first Uncharted script was written by Joe Carnahan , but the current version of the script bears the signatures of Art Marcum , Matt Holloway and Rafe Judkins .
