Users spent nearly $ 34 billion on apps in the last quarter

According to the latest reports , users of the main shopping apps for Android and iOS have spent nearly 34 billion dollars in recent months.

Customers of the App Store and Play Store , the leading app stores for Android and iOS , have spent US $ 33.6 billion during the third quarter of 2021, representing a 15.1% year-over-year increase.

According to research conducted by SensorTower , spending on the App Store , owned by Apple , it grew by 22.1% in the first half of 2021, similarly,  Play Store of Google has experienced significant growth.

The mobile app market has seen continued growth despite pandemic issues. Users have spent on in-app purchases, premium apps, and subscriptions.

TikTok has remained the top- grossing app in both stores globally during Q3 2021.

However, even though TikTok was the highest grossing app overall, Google One was the top grossing app on the Play Store .

Manga reader Piccoma peaked at number two with a revenue increase of 130 percent year-on-year, followed by YouTube with a rise of 17% year-on-year.
