the Peacock series based on the literary saga “The Academy of Vampires” by Richelle Mead , was unveiled . HERE you can see the previous teaser.

Produced by Julie Plec ( The Vampire Diaries ) and Marguerite Macintyre , and written by the latter, Vampire Academy is set in a world of privilege and glamor, where the friendship between two girls, a vampire and a Dhampir, who attend the St. Vladimir’s Academy as they prepare to enter vampire high society, transcends class differences.

The official synopsis

Lissa, a royal vampire, and her best friend and protector, Rose, navigate romance, class politics, and ancient magic at their vampire boarding school. When the two friends form a mysterious bond, they must work together to decipher it, while facing threats inside and outside the school gates, including the bloodthirsty undead Strigoi.

The cast of Vampire Academy

In the series we will see:

  • Sisi Stringer as Rose Hathaway goldberg. She calls herself Dhampir and is a human-vampire hybrid. She is a real fighter, in every sense.
  • Daniela Nieves in the role of Lissa Dragomir. Royal vampire Moroi, raised the younger sister of the heir to the throne: Princess Vasilisa Dragomir.
  • Andrew Liner as Mason Ashford. A young man aiming to become the first Guardian.
  • J. August Richards as Victor Dashkov, a kindhearted Moroi noble vampire who is highly regarded for his political skills.
  • Kieron Moore in the role of Dimitri Belikov. Deadly, disciplined, discreet, he is the perfect Dhampir guardian.
  • Andre Dae Kim as Christian Ozera, a real Moroi vampire. He pays for his parents’ unforgivable sins.
  • Anita-Joy Uwajeh as Tatiana Vogel, a Moroi vampire. Politically disadvantaged, she slowly manages to upset the royal court.
  • Mia McKenna-Bruce as Mia Karp, a student who has a plan to make her social climb to royalty.
  • Jonetta Kaiser as Sonya. A young woman who lives on the fringes of society and is surprised when a Dhampir Guardian named Mikhail shows interest in her.

Bille Woodruff ( Black Lightning ) directed the pilot episode. Julie Plec, Luis Prieto, Jesse Warn, Erica Dunton and Geoff Shotz directed the remaining episodes. The series, produced by Universal Television, will arrive on Peacock on September 15.
