The cast
Leading character Eddie Brock is played by Tom Hardy , while Michelle Williams plays Anne Weying , District Attorney and Eddie’s romantic interest .
Also in the cast are Woody Harrelson ( Cletus Kasady / Carnage ), Naomie Harris ( Shriek ) and Stephen Graham .
The screenplay of Venom 2 was entrusted to Kelly Marcel , who had already put his hand to the script of the first chapter; she is also known for writing 50 Shades of Gray , Saving Mr. Banks and Cruella .
The director is Andy Serkis , an actor specialized in performance capture (we remember Gollum and King Kong for Peter Jackson’s films), but equally gifted in live-action interpretations. This cinecomic will be his third experience directing a feature film, after Breath and Mowgli: The Jungle Child .
