The teaser trailer of the fourth season of Westworld , which will debut June 26 on the prestigious American network, has been leaked online (but curiously not on the official channels of HBO ).
It had been a while since there was no talk of this series, despite the stir caused by the first two seasons (and then diminished with the third). Filming was certainly slowed down by the pandemic, but it’s actually a very complex show, and even its previous incarnations took a couple of years to complete – it never came out annually, so to speak. Judging by the teaser, even the fourth season promises eerie futuristic scenarios and rather brutal sequences.
The evocative montage is accompanied by Lou Reed ‘s Perfect Day , and includes much of the main cast: Jeffrey Wright , Ed Harris , Thandie Newton , Evan Rachel Wood , Tessa Thompson , Angela Sarafyan , Luke Hemsworth and Aaron Paul .
