WhatsApp is adding a completely new button in your group chats that allows you to enter a video call at any time .
WhatsApp continues to add new ways for the user to experience the functions of the messaging platform.
In July, WhatsApp announced that you can now join any ongoing video call from the chat list. With this addition, Facebook wanted to compete against the growth of Zoom , Google Meet and Telegram .
Now, the Facebook messaging application is adding a button within group chats for access to a video call completely dependent on the user.

The new JOIN button will be located at the top of the group chat when there is a video call in progress. You can touch it at any time to join.
In addition, the notifications will indicate the group name instead of the participants’ names and only the people in the group will be able to join the video call.
